ABOUT ME

I grew up in Bakersfield, CA and earned my undergraduate degree from UC Riverside in 2010, where I attended on a full athletic scholarship as part of their NCAA division one softball program. After graduation, I spent the next 10 years working in the behavioral health field, first in residential and then outpatient settings. For the last five of those years, I focused on crisis management, serving as a first responder alongside law enforcement in mental health crisis situations.

During graduate school (beginning 2020), I worked as a therapist at an outpatient clinic and grief support social worker in hospice care—an experience that deepened my passion for walking alongside individuals through life’s most vulnerable moments. Today, I work in private practice, supporting children, adults, and couples as they navigate trauma, grief, stress, postpartum transitions, and the many challenges that life can bring.

Personal: I have three kiddos (2, 5 and 7) and an amazing husband.  We have some dogs - a GIANT cane corso, mini golden doodle and teacup yorkie.  I am a Christian, half Hispanic and half white and have been getting in touch with my Native American lineage over the last few years.

In accordance with SB1024, I provide the following information about my license, as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS):
